After the earthquake, thousands of families lost everything. Today, life is being born in the midst of hardship.
La Caravane Sans Frontières, with the support of the Sainte-Clotilde – La Jonction Parish, is launching the Cradles of Hope project to build wooden cradles in Venezuela for affected families. A gesture of solidarity for a better future.

Guillermo’s story
When the earthquake struck Venezuela, Guillermo opened the doors of his workshop. He built coffins to give a dignified final resting place to those who had passed.
Then, he made school desks so that children could go back to school and dream again.
Today, he and his team of carpenters will build cradles to welcome new life.
These cradles will be made in Venezuela by Guillermo and his team, using local materials. By supporting this project, you help the families who need it while also supporting the local economy and the work of local craftspeople.
La Caravane Sans Frontières provides direct oversight of the project, from manufacturing through to delivery to the families.

1 foldable crib, 1 mattress, 1 mosquito net, 3 onesies, 3 pyjamas, 3 blankets or sheets, 1 pack of diapers, 1 pack of wipes, 1 baby hygiene kit, 1 stuffed toy.
