Following the flooding caused by the DANA storm in Spain, La Caravane Sans Frontières mobilized with the support of many Spanish citizens living in Geneva. Together, we organized a large collection of humanitarian supplies to help the affected families.
This mission was carried out in close collaboration with Asociación Sonrisas, the Unidad Militar de Emergencias (UME) and Acción Solidaria Valenciana (ASV), enabling effective coordination between associations and teams on the ground.
Building on this mobilization, a special Christmas operation was also organized to bring gifts, supplies and moments of comfort to the affected families, allowing many children to find a bit of hope during the holidays.
