La Caravane Sans Frontières,
united in solidarity since 2020
Founded in Geneva in 2020, following the citizen initiative Les Samedis pour Tous, La Caravane Sans Frontières (CSF) is an independent, non-profit Swiss association that works on behalf of people facing vulnerability, social exclusion and severe hardship.
Our journey
Our history
Founded at the height of the COVID-19 health crisis, the association was born from a simple conviction: solidarity knows no borders, and human dignity knows no nationality. Since its founding, La Caravane Sans Frontières has supported people and families facing social emergencies, while gradually developing humanitarian work at the international level.

Our mission is to respond to emergencies while helping people move toward lasting solutions. We work in particular in the following areas:

Emergency housing
Access to decent housing is one of the pillars of our work. Today, La Caravane Sans Frontières provides seven solidarity apartments in Geneva, offering temporary shelter to families facing severe vulnerability until a lasting solution can be found.
When circumstances require it, particularly during winter or extreme emergencies, the association also funds hotel stays to protect the most fragile people.
At the same time, our teams continue street outreach, social support and the search for lasting housing solutions for people without a home.
